The Six Star unstrung tennis racquet is equipped with HEAD's renowned YouTek package of features. YouTek combines technologies to match your individual needs. Whether aggressive and adventurous or consistent and smooth, YouTek enhances your performance and brings out the best in your game.

The racquet is constructed of d3o smart material, a dilatant foam which dramatically changes its behavior under dynamic loading or impact. Integrated in the lay-up and positioned in the shaft area of the racquet, d3o technology senses different strokes. On high-speed impacts, the smart molecules lock together within nanoseconds and dramatically increase the stiffness of the whole racquet frame to provide maximum power. On slow-speed impacts like slices or drop shots, the d3o molecules absorb the impact to provide a softer touch for better feel.

HEAD grommets with Teflon friction-reducing polymer provide a low-friction contact surface, enabling the strings to slide through the grommets with nearly no friction, creating a self-lubricating effect in the base material. Moving without resistance, the strings maintain their energy during ball impact, providing more power.
