The latest update to the slightly heavier and 0.5 inch longer Babolat Pure Drive Roddick Plus, the new Pure Drive Roddick GT (Graphite Tungsten) Plus adds a hybrid of braided carbon fibers and tungsten filaments throughout the entire racquet. Tungsten strengthens the frame to reduce torque for greater precision. Babolat continues to utilize the Cortex vibration filter at the top of the handle. Babolat has kept the specifications on the new Pure Drive Roddick GT Plus virtually the same as the previous generation Pure Drive Roddick Team Plus and Pure Drive Roddick Cortex Plus. The Pure Drive Roddick GT Plus remains the definitive tweener (between powerful/controlled) frame. Meant to more closely replicate the weight of Andy's racquet, the Pure Drive Roddick GT provides a little more stiffness and power, provided you are able to handle the additional weight.
